Overview
Place specialized "Hexes" on the grid known as the HexGrid. Transmit power from the central "Source" using gears and transmissions to drive sequencers and produce sound.
From simple beats to complex polyrhythms and evolving melodies. Experience a visually stunning musical journey.
Key Features
Mechanical Sequences
- Basic Hex: The fundamental gear that transmits power.
- Transmission Hex: Changes the gear ratio, giving you full control over rotation speed and BPM.
- Switcher Hex: Routes power to different outputs based on rotation intervals, allowing for evolving patterns and logic.
Rhythm Generation (Kick Hex)
- Rotating arcs trigger SoundHex when they hit direction markers.
- Division Count: Split the circle into 1-16 divisions to generate complex polyrhythms effortlessly.
- Set multiple output directions to create cascading chain reactions.
Synthesis (Sound Hex)
- Waveforms: Select from Sine, Square, Saw, Noise, Triangle, and Pulse.
- Scales: Stay in key with Major, Minor, and other scale settings.
Share Your Creations
- Export your grid configuration as text data.
- Easily share your mechanical musical machines with friends and the community.
Controls
